Superb Silver Salver with Floral Scrolls & Scalloped shells by E Silver & Co:

This is amagnificent,1951, George V1, E Silver and Co, fully hallmarked, sterling silver salver, with pie-crustscroll andscallop shell edge, engraved floral scrolls and raised on threescallop feet. The ornate engraving workmanship of the nine scroll shells and intricate scalloped border is absolutely exquisite.

A truly stunning piece of E Silver & Co workmanship, fully hallmarked with the Crown for Sheffield, date letter I for 1951 in a shield cartouche, lion passant and stamped ES & Co. It also has a \'Made in Sheffield, England\' impressed mark and a T153 serial number stamp.

Considering this stunning silver salver is 63 yearsold it\'s in fantastic original condition, with no splits, dents, nicks or damage, justsome very beautiful patina wear to the silver, commensurate with it\'sage. Whoever purchases this salver will not be disappointed because its an absolute belter, and as you can see from our dimensions, theweight is really quite substantial !!!

Silver manufactured by Mark Tyzach and Sons. First registered in Sheffield in 1947, and had showrooms at 81 New Bond Street, London. They specialised in butter shells, coffee pots, tea services, covered dishes, decanter labels, napkin rings, strainers, trays and salvers.
