Upfor sale is this gorgeous, superblycrafted solidsilver Persian cigarette box/case exquisitelydecorated on all sides. The hand chased engravingsfeature flowers, exotic plants, birds of paradise, beasts, and arabesque motifs. This is an important piece of Persian art, with hallmarks on the interior of two very famous master silversmiths of the 20th century, Parvaresh and Jahromi. It is in mint condition, with no visible dents, marks, or damage of any kind.

Like most Persian silver objects from mid 20th centurythis beautiful case is marked as 84 silver which meant a silver content of 87.5 % silver.
