Up for your consideration is a totally restored Millers Falls No.2 eggbeater hand drill 1921 era with the LRRCW. Great care has been taken in the restoration of this drill: all painted finishes are applied then baked for durability, the single pinion gear meshes perfectly with main gear, excellent chuck knurling which operates in and out smooth as silk, main shaft end play carefully maintained, the end cap has excellent threads and is ready to store the bits of your choice.

All drills that go through my shop are done in like manner: 1. complete disassembly with thorough inspection done to each and every part. 2. All parts are submerged in a rust removing tank overnight. 3. All finishes are then stripped. 4. The finishes are applied in successive coats, slowly building until a very beautiful and very durable end product is created. 5. All wood parts are hand sanded, and if it is correct for the drill, the beautiful Millers Falls red stain is applied followed by 5 coats of lacquer then polished out. 6.All bare metal parts are coated several times with a high-tech, rust inhibitor/dry lubricant. 7. The chuck is completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, lightly lubricated, then reassembled. 8. After reassembly, each and every drill is tested and inspected before (finally!) getting my mark of approval.Please note: I do my restoration work with the belief that it\'s all in the details.
