Superb vintage Art Deco HM 1928 sterling silver rare Iona marble thimble :

This is a superb vintage Art Deco hallmarked 1928 sterling silver thimble with a rare top made from a fabulous section of translucent green Iona marble.
The thimble has a full set of hallmarks with faded makers mark beginning with T, the anchor for Birmingham assay office, the lion for sterling silver and date letter D for 1928. The bottom internal width is 1.5 cm with length 2.1 cm.
