This is a very sweet doll. The lady I purchased her from kept her immaculately clean and her condition is perfect. She stands about 14 inches tall. She is wearing very soft and a very pretty ensemble of clothing. I purchased her to give to my 93 yr old mother and decided not to send her a \"bisque \"doll.

She is Empress Josephine, (Napoleon) and her head, arms and lower legs are some kind of clay or bisque mixture. She is clean and soft and lightweight. Her body itself is cloth and very well constructed. She has bisque arms and feet. Nice materials used both for her body and her clothing. She definetly is a good example of the Empress. Note, she was made later than 1930, but she is French.

She is wearing a beautiful blue and lace dress princess style ,and has a blue underslip and white laced pantiloons. Has molded shoes. She is cloth bodied and both her underslip and her dress have little hidden snaps. The costume is handmade with hand finished seems. She really has a sweet princess look overall.

The shoulder plate has the artist name penned in black. Im sure that she is one of a kind. She has been in a cabinet all her life and does have a storage smell. Hand washing her costume will remedy any faint odor.

She is in need of a home now. She will make a very pretty addition to a bedroom decor and any doll collection!!
