Ochre-stained engraved stone tablets, quartzite-limestone composite, average of 6.5 inches height (16.5 cm) x 5 inches width (13 cm), half inch thickness, with pair of display stands, both back-label & printed reproduction of the Ten Commandments in the original Paleo-Hebrew (Proto-Canaanite) extant during the time of Moses and the Exodus.

Reproducing authenticity as closely as possible, the inscription is engraved upon the same style of stone tablets used in the period. Demonstrating the most ancient form of the Name of God, the first two lines declare: "I am Yod-Hey-Vod-Hey." (I am the Lord, thy God.)

The complete Ten Commandments, as originally given, cover both tablets and the full literal translation from Proto-Canaanite through Hebrew to English is included as both reduced back-labels and separate full-size scroll documents.

Hebrew tradition, the Torah itself, as well as Jesus and the New Testament writers name Moses as the divinely inspired author of the Pentateuch (see Genesis and Genesis 3:15). It is believed that Moses lived in the latter part of the second millenium BC (1500-1200 BC).

Hebrew was the original language of the Israelites and the Hebrew alphabet known as Ketav Ivri (or "Paleo-Hebrew") is nearly identical to the Phoenician alphabet that circulated around 1400 BC.
