A lovely antique silver gilt (solid silver with a gold wash) pendant; beautifully made, with ornate bezel, fitted bale and set with a wonderful hand painted miniature depicting a typical country boy.It dates from around1900 if not slightly earlierand isinexcellent, fully wearablecondition throughout, with no loss or damage. It weighs5.2grams and measures1 ½x 1inch. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
