Front and rear covers are present. Somepage sections have separated but most are still attached together, but barely. As befitting Coleridge\'s dramatic epic poem,Willy Pogany has extensively gilt tooled the front and has fully decoratedevery page. To paraphrase Vadeboncoeur, \"Willy Pogany\'s art nouveaumasterpiece. Each page is at least two colors, sometimes with a gilt plate andusually an intricate border added. Extra-elaborate initials started each page,with simply ornate capitals for the beginning of each line. An illuminatedtitle page, 20 tipped-in color plates, the second color added to the black andwhite plates, the flowing calligraphic text, and the numerous pen & inkdrawings.”
