Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never added to my collection any pressbooks that were not in very good condition. Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting. Some pressbooks have thinner pages and the scanner with the very bright light often will pick up the print on the other side, so please keep that in mind when looking at the photos, this does not show when looking at the page.UNCUT United Artists pressbook for \"THE SATAN BUG\" starring George Maharis, Anne Francis, Dana Andrews, Richard BasehartIncludes ad mats (what theaters used for newspaper advertisements, usually many different styles), pages of original publicity stories, pictures of all of the film\'s posters, promotions with rare studio photos, publicity stills (stills and photos are PART OF THE PRESSBOOK, not separate) and much more. This pressbook has been folded in half (this was very common for pressbooks of the era, as they were large and theater managers and the National Screen Service folded them to file them for future use). It has been flattened in a heavy pile for 15 years so sits very flat, there is no discoloration on the fold. Pressbook has a slight 1/4\" tear at the fold on the very right side of the pressbook, this does not go anywhere near the print as it is in the border. Slight crease on left side of cover and 2 very small spots outside of the ad (on the border) on the covert to the left of the photo. The interior of this book is in excellent condition.
