RARE copy model sheetMATTED AND READY TO FRAME!The Thing was a segment from Fred and Barney Meet the Thing. It was also branded as The New Fred and Barney Show at some point. Episodes of this were then repeated in Fred and Barney Meet the Shmoo - so he was shown quite a bit, even though we don\'t see much of him now! This photocopy sheet from the time of production is actually for the horse, but luckily The Thing is on there for size comparison.
From our Faye McDonald collection. We purchased a large lot of items with her name on it (her name is hand-written on many of the pieces). Unfortunatelywe know little more than this. It looks likely that she was one of the many ink and paint folks who were often not as credited as the animators. It appears she worked for Filmation and Hanna-Barbera as well as other studios.
