This listing is for a pair of classic Tiffany& Company sterling silver candlesticks.

These come from a Philadelphia estate,

and are true antique items that are 120 years old.

Guaranteed authentic, they are signed on the bottoms:

STERLING

1335 & 1336

Hand-etched # 8552

and 7789 over the sterling mark.

The former number indicates manufacture between 1896 to 1897.

Quite heavy, one candlestick weighs 2.7lb.; the second weighs 2.8lb., for a combined weight of more than 5 pounds.

They each measure 9 3/4 inches high, and 6 inches in diameter at the base.

They are decorated in a baroque style, withflourishes around the base and on the stem.

Not monogrammed, they each have a shield-shaped space for initialing.

Perfect for gracing a holiday table, giving romantic light to a boudoir,

or accenting a piano.

Condition

Antique item in overall good condition. Smoothening of the design from years of loving use. Indications of prior polishing and gentle wear, and shelf wear to the bottom. Please view close-up photographs provided.
