For saleis an art glass and metal table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This lamp is known as a \"Candle Lamp\" in the Tiffany Catalog line. When assembled this art glass lamp stands 12 1/2\" tall and the shade has a diameter of 7 1/4\" at its widest point. The bottom of the base has a diameter of 3 7/8\".This base consist of gold Favrile, Aurene style of art glass in a twisted candlestick form. The stem that holds the shade is also made of Favrile art glass. It has a pulled feather design on calcite white background. There is a metal flange at the bottom of the insert that has finger tabs. These tabs are used to adjust the fit into the candlestick bottom as to hold the shade level on the lamp. The top of this insert has it original shade carriage fitted to the glass insert and it still retains its original mini key-less candelabra socket to accommodate electricity. Then there is the beautiful ruffled Favrile art glass lighting shade that fits on this. The color of the shade is outstanding. The shades displays a Gold Favrile glass that bleeds from the top to the mid section. Then there is a beautiful fuchsia ring that separates the color of the lower half. The lower half has a green hue to bronze color that has a wonderful onion skin texture throughout. The entire shade has iridescence and when viewing at an angle the fuchsia highlights are simply gorgeous. When looking inside the shade it looks metallic green in color and is similar to Loetz\'s Metalin style of glass.The entire lamps is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issue is a small flea nick along the inside edge of the shade. This cannot be seen when display and the only reason I know it was there was from running my finger along the inside edge. This is considered insignificant. The underside bottom has scratches and is typical of normal age wear. The shade is signed on the inside top lip in a counter clockwise fashion \"L.C.T.\". On the top lip it also has the numbers \"3067\" lightly scratched. This was more than likely an order number. The bottom of the base is also signed \"L.C.T. Favrile\" also in a counter clockwise fashion.This is a quality original Tiffany Studios Candle lamp in excellent original condition. The entire lamp is original except fro the antique gold style art glass lamp cord and the Hi-Low Off clicker switch I installed on the cord to give 2 levels of light. The lamp most importantly still has its original factory issued Empire New York Mini Candelabra Socket. Many Tiffany Candle Lamps on line have funky set ups that are not Tiffany Original. This one is a original as you can get, even the lamp plug is original. The original round candelabra light bulb pictured is no longer available with this lamp as I broke it coming back from a show.
This Tiffany Studios Favrile Candle Lamp was made circa 1905-1915. I have many more pictures of this lamp. I took all kinds of pictures because I had to totally disassemble it in order to rewire it. Please let me know if there are more you would like to see.
