In October 1991, Ex-president Gerald R. Ford endorsed The First Presidential Conservation Print. His personal effort assisted preservation efforts of Isle Royale National Park and the Wild Canid Survival and Research Center, which was founded by Dr. Marlin Perkins. This piece was the first edition in a program that was supposed to continue for years & have a different President sign a different print each year, but the funding never materialized so that a limited number of this print were made & the program never continued. The overall size of the print is 19 1/2 x 22 1/2, Image size 14\" x 17 1/2\".
