Here you go, collectors: a 1998 Gibson SG-X in the rare and beautiful CORAL color, part of the limited-edition \"Summer Beach Series\" that came out that year.What makes this guitar amazing is its pristine condition: The guitar was purchased brand-new in 1998, stored away in its original gigbag, and never played. If you\'re wondering why it only has five strings, well, those are the original strings too — they were never changed in all these years.Simply amazing pristine condition. One tiny \"impression\" on the back, near the control cavity cover, that\'s the size of a grain of rice -- too small to photograph. No other issues. No dings, dents, scratches, scuffs, stains, cracks, chips, buckle rash, breaks, repairs, or modifications. All the chrome is bright and shiny.Not a single mark on that nice white pickguard!Please note that anything that looks like rough spots along the bottom edge are the fluffy black pads on my guitar stand!Only one addition: The previous owner added a chrome-plated pickup ring when the guitar was purchased. It looks very nice, but easy enough to remove, if you want to keep it 100% original.This is essentially a brand-new, unplayed, 19-year-old guitar.And look at the color. WOW! Some of the other \"Summer Beach Series\" colors included army green and brown — pretty drab. This one just leaps out at you. Special features include:
