Marked N.D. on the bottom.
21 1/2\". 3\" deep. 1 3/4\" wide.
In very good condition save for a surface crack on the base. It is a bit dusty and needs an expert cleaning.
Nicely, but not intricately hand carved. Very light wood. Notice that the back has also been carved, unlike many others I\'ve seen. Colors are earth tones plus white. During my research, I did not find one remotely like this, but designs and effigy of a man on a burro suggest South Seas, Africa, Mexico, Latin or South America.
