This is an sale for my lovely TudorSolid 9ct Gold ladies watch made by the Rolex Watch Co Ltd. Tudor is Rolex\'s second line of precision timepieces and was sold by appointed dealers under Rolex\'s standard \'precision\'line of models. However, this is not your ordinary Rolex/Tudor watch. Sold in \'very good condition\' which in unbelievable to a watch dating back to 1952.

It looks stunning set off with its much sought-afterhallmarked and signed solid 9ct gold case, Tudor rose motif, raised golden numerals, art deco style anodised arrow hands, mini second hand and champagne dial withoriginalunrestored patina. Fitted to a new quality french leather strap with 18ct Gold plated buckle. Removal of the case back reveals a clean movement.

Checked at my watchmaker yesterday (31/01/2015). Movement inspected and oiled. Ticks strongly and keeps good time.

The buyer will receive all the items listed including an unbranded box. No marks or signs of to either. Used rarely so it would be nice to find this beautiful watch a good home. Looks lovely on the wrist. Keepsaccuratetime and was checked last week by a reputable watchmaker.Dial marked with theTudorRose emblem and marked \'Swiss Made\'. Some minor surface undulations to the rear of the case (<3mm) but no stand out dents or dings whatsoever.

Swiss-Madeladies Tudor wrist watch manufactured by Rolex. Serial number165726 manufactured in 1953.

Rare 9ct SolidGold case. Inside lid signed by Rolex withgolden dial and hands, flawless original Rolex plexi crystal. Tudor17 Jewelmanual movement which, as stated does require a general service. Fitted to a new quality aftermarket non-Rolex/Tudor french-leather strap with an 18ct gold plated buckle which suits this model perfectly. Lovely flat case back gives a comfortable feel when the watch is put on.

Serial no: 165726

Movement:Original Swiss Tudor 17 Jewelled movement. Marked \'Tudor 17 Rubis, Swiss Made.\' 1nr replacement cog fitted previously.

Diameter is 22mm (excluding crown) 23mm (inclusive of crown).

Lug to lug is approx. 28mm. Internal lug width is 10mm.

Champagne dial, raised gold deco style numerals. Second sub dial. Gold hands. Marked \'Tudor\' small rose emblem and \'Swiss Made.\' Nice original condition and original unrestored patina.

Genuine Rolex acrylic crystal invery goodcondition.

Gold-Plated push-down crown

Rolex Solid 9ct Gold Case and rimmed edgedbezel.

Hallmarked and stamped to inside lid. Marked \'R.W.& Co LTD, T,.375 (9ct Gold), 165726. Hallmarked with a \'A\', \'9\' and shield emblem. This indicates a very rare Chester assay mark dating from 1952 (the Chester assay office closed some 10 years later).

Service dates from inside the lid are visible under magnifier (1959, 1968, 1980 etc)

Quality new aftermarket french-leather strap. Branded, but please note that this braceletis not made by Rolex/Tudor. Suitable for an 7.5 inch wrist. Inexcellent condition.
