Up for sale is a late 1800s black glass wine bottle almost completely covered with barnacles all over, including some on the bottom. The bottle is hand blown with a crudely applied square coller lip. It is about 11 1/2\" tall and the bottle was recovered last month. As mentioned, the bottle is covered all over with barnacles and is free of chips or cracks. There is no embossing on the side of the bottle and color is medium olive with a bit of yellow. The bottom of the bottle has a very deep kick-up. The bottle dates 1880s-1900 and was a wine bottle of some type. It displays great and the last photo shows some of the 24 new arrivals from this week. See my other sales for more.
