This listing is for a Tall Pottery ART VASE of early manufacture that has a \"winged floral\" design/pattern. Although it is not marked, this is a circa 1914 piece of WELLER pottery in the Clinton Ivory pattern. It is in VERY GOOD condition considering its age.
This piece is a little over 9 3/4\" Tall and 4 5/8\" Wide at the Base. It is not symmetrically round at the top measuring anywhere from 4\" to 4 1/8\" across. The colors are Cream or Buff and a darker Brown. The brown is considerably \"richer\" in color and contrasts much better with the cream/buff than many other examples currently available.
The \"blemish\" on the rim as shown in photos #6 & #7 I believe were production related. They aren\'t \"chips\". There is a very fine \"hairline\" visible on the inside (please see photo #8 above), but it\'s NOT visible on the exterior (photo #9). The last photo shows the mild asymmetry of the top. There is crazing and some staining as one should expect for its age and used condition.
