Many of the Estate Sales I attend are in the most Magnificent Homes which belonged to extremely wealthy, successful people. It is absolutely amazing to me how many beautiful things they had that were never used. Possibly they were impulse purchases or more likely, gifts that were never or rarely used.
This Charming Teapot For One by Tracey Porter Exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue in the Annie Pattern is another Great Estate Find in Lovely Condition. This Item consists of a Teapot and its Cover, which is perched upon a stunning Oversized Tea Cup.
The entire item stands nearly 7\" Tall, measured to the top of the Knob on the Cover. The Pot has a Base Diameter of about 4\". The Cup has a Top Opening Diameter of about 5 1/2\".
It has a nice substantial feel to it. This Tea Pot together with its cup and cover weigh about 4 pounds, as pictured and prior to very careful packing to ensure a safe arrival at your home or place of business.
The condition is really nice, very well-cared for although I think there are tea discolorations inside the cup as it is not bright white. I\'ve been told that a little baking soda and water paste cleans those types of stains, but I\'ll leave that to the new owner. I know collectors have their own secret recipes for doing these things. I also see what might be tea discolorations here and there on the exterior. It is not obvious, but I try to describe precisely what I see.
