Spectacular patinated bronze planter with a group of three women after ahard day on a field.

The figures of women are very detailed with an exceptionalexpression of emotion on their faces.

Excellent condition, ca. 1905-1910, threecolors of patina, signed on a back by sought after Austrian Art Nouveausculptor Peter Tereszczuk (wk. 1895-1925), small metal plaque attached on a backwith Gallery of “F. Neiber & Sohne, Wien”, measures 20” long, 10” wide, 11 ½”high, women’s figures are approximately 8 ½”high, has a removable copperplanter insert.

Peter Tereszczuk, very famous Austrian Art Nouveau - Art Deco bronze sculptor of Ukrainian descent, wasworking in Vienna during 1895-1925, has distinctive style of realistic femininefigures, famous for his gorgeous table lamps, large groups and objects d’art.Most of his creations are in private collections and museums.
