Simply a great issue: \"Beware...The Black Widow!\"
In this issue, the Black Widow abandons her original costume in favor of her trademark skin-tight black costume.
The comics condition & my history with it: This copy of The Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1 #86, is in pretty great shape. Its from my family\'s collection and has been kept safe in its plastic bag since one of my brothers first picked it new at the neighborhood store in the late 1960s.
The cover has some minor obvious wear to it, that said, its looks fantastic. I just took it out of its bag to scan the comic for this sale, and glanced thru all the pages. Happy to report, no hidden hiccups, no loose staples, all pages in tact on this comic.
Today, taking out of its bag was something I havent done in a good quarter of a century and it was thrill seeing John Romita Sr.\'s brillance once more. And seeing Jim Mooney\'s brilliant inking, and this comic book is one for the ages. And I haven\'t menioined Stan Lee\'s great script.
I\'d classify this copy as 8.5 (VERY FINE+) [My books haven\'t been graded, but please look at the pictures.]
