This is a vintage antique copy of “The Art Bible”, dating from circa 1896 and published in London by George Newnes. A profusely illustrated bible with many monochrome full-page and “in-text” illustrations. The Old Testament has no less than 660 illustrations and 1023 pages. The New Testament has its own title page, 192 illustrations and 313 pages. The text is arranged in double columns.

Externally, it is showing its age as the front and rear covers have become detached. However, it is complete and inside, it is in much better condition and largely intact, with just a smallminority of pages having been torn and some staining. Please study the photographs for more information on the condition.

The approximate dimensions are 25 centimetres (10″) long, 18 centimetres (7″) wide and 7 centimetres (2¾″) thick. The approximate weight is 2.7 kilograms.
