Marbled endpapers. Illustrated with numerous vivid steel engravings of Shakespeare\'s characters portrayed by notable American actors of the mid 19th Century.Condition: Good to Very Good Condition with square and tight bindings and bright, clean contents with no writings or markings. Pages show very light age toning. The Covers show rubbing, bumping and light scuffing and wear. Hinges are solid but are just starting to split. The front end page has been carefully removed from the Histories Volume.
