Very nice condition for this old rare book. No bent or dog-eared pages, but someone wrote \"Kitty from RJ Satun\" at the top of the Wilderland map, visible in the 2nd photo.
This is the 1st American edition, first state, signified by:

• Bowing hobbit emblem on title page.
• Chapter VII mistakenly titled Chapter VI.
• Maps pasted down.
• Wilderland map at the beginning.
• Lonely Mountain map at the end.
