Thanks!)Another of Docc Hilford\'s excellent booklets, this one detailing a secret utility move for obtaining information from your spectators. In fact,, you can obtain an impression of the thoughts of 6 or 7 different spectators, all at once! Looks like this:A 3x5 inch pad of paper is shown, and numbers 1 through 6 listed down the side. Spectators are told to think of a President, and then the pad is passed among the spectators who each write down the last name of the President they have in mind. If someone else has written the same president they were thinking of, they should think of a new on, so there will be six different Presidential names. (Magi does not handle the pad during this process). The last spectator tears the page off and folds it into quarters, hiding the writing. Magi takes the folded slip, recaps that six different people are now thinking of six different Presidents. He tears up the paper, and tossed the pieces away. Then he takes up a larger pad, and begins to divine the thoughts of the spectators. He can name any or all of the presidents.
You may know something similar (if you are a knowledgeable mentalist), but Hilford\'s method allows for much more info to be learned in a similar (but different) manner.
Booklet is well written, but also comes with a DVD of Hilford teaching the Jagged Egde move to a roomful of mentalists. The DVD is crudely shot, but does provide a nice aid to learning the move along with the printed instructions.
Use your own paper pads. And use your imagination to find other ways to use this, since the Presidents routine is just one way to present this strong mentalism idea.
