Up of sale is The Lincoln Mint Life Of Abraham Lincoln set of 24 Sterling Silver Coins and Autobiographical NarrativeThere are two bound books titled \"The Life of Lincoln\". One of the books holds 24 39-millimeter medals/coins dedicated to the life of Abraham Lincoln. The series of \"medals\" is produced in Solid Sterling Silver by the Lincoln Mint, Chicago. The other book is an \"Autobiographical Narrative\" about the life of Abraham Lincoln composed by the Schori Press, Evanston. The original drawing for each of the \"medals\" precedes the chapter of the book in which it is described. The printing of the book and \"medals\" is limited to ten thousand copies of which this is number 892. The last page of the book is marked #892, and this number corresponds with the number \"0892\" marked on the side of each of the medals/coins. Each coin is also marked \"Sterling\" on the side, but is difficult to see due to tarnish on some of the coins. This is a rare find in a complete collection such as this one. It would make a great addition to any collection. The medals/coins are in great condition and have some tarnish. The narrative book is in excellent condition with the binding and all pages intact. The outside covers of both folders have areas of surface scuffs and/or scratches, as does the box that holds both folders.Approximately 24 Troy Ounces of Sterling Silver
