Here we have a beautiful Dedham Bunny Oval serving platter by The Potting Shed. This Platter measures 8.5\" x 12\" Features the Dedham Bunny hand painted edge. The bottom is marked with SY USA \'89. The crazing on this piece is typical of The Potting Shed and is NOT considered a flaw.

History
The original Dedham Pottery design of bunnies was designed by Alice Morse andJoseph Lindon Smith of the Museum of Fine Arts School, Boston.
From 1892 until it closed in 1943, this pattern, a munching bunny eating whatsome refer to as a brussel sprouts plant, was the company\'s best seller.
Since the mid-70\'s The Potting Shed of Concord, Massachusetts has beenreproducing Dedham as well as their own original designs, all hand finished,hand painted and glazed.Please note that the crackle glaze is not an imperfection, but a techniquereplicated of the original crackledesign that Hugh Robertson, theoriginal owner of Dedham Pottery, perfected.
