Presumed First edition. Undated in publishing information, but gift inscription on front endpaper dated 1921. Two of the plates are dated 1917. HB. Pictorial paper covered boards with cloth spine. Unpaginated, h: 29cm. Illustrated by the author throughout with line drawings around text, and 12 beautiful full page plates from watercolours. Adventures of Elva and Dick in fairyland.
Pages generally clean, some have spotting and small handling marks, first few text pages and front endpapers more heavily marked.
book is a rare find and has seen better days but at least 10 of the 12 plates are useable.
Most of the watercolour prints are good and would make lovely nursery / library framed pictures if the book were to be disassembled.
