Thimble This sale is for the thimble in the photos. This is an early unmarked sterling silver thimble c1880s. It has a wide band with buildings, mountains and a lake against a textured background. It is marked on the band 10 for the size. A similar thimble is pictured in American Silver Thimbles by Gay Ann Rogers on page 44, photo 41. This thimble is in round with no holes. Please see the photos for it\'s condition. This comes from a smoke free home.
