A MUST HAVE for all you Thomas Kinkade Collectors out there. While all of his work is in demand, the holiday and/or Christmas pieces seem harder and harder to find on the open market. This lamp depicts his famous painting \"VICTORIAN Christmas\" hand-painted on the inside of the glass globe / shade, and illuminates beautifully all the way around. Here\'s how Kinkade, himself, describes this piece: Some homes just beg to be painted! This stately old Victorian stands on a prominent street corner in my hometown. I decided to turn the clock back to a Christmas Eve around the turn of the century and paint the house all lit up for open house festivities. The scene seemed so nostalgic that I couldn\'t resist painting Norman Rockwell in the lower left hand corner.
The lamp stands 24\" TALL and the \"shade\" measures 15 1/2\" in diameter. It has two light sockets with individual pull chains, and the lamp is controlled with a dimmer switch as well.
I only wish the pics could truly capture the beauty of this piece, but, trust me, it is MUCH more stunning in person. I have a pair of this lamp and it sits in the Library most of the time but at Christmas time I move it to the entry. It has had little use and in great condition it has 2004 on the sticker on the bottom of the lamp base.
I have moved and have to much so look at my other sales and check back. I can not list it all at once. THIS IS FROM MY SMOKE FREE CLEAN HOME!
