This early rare crock evolved into the much more common Revigator.Just like Revigators, this crock is lined with radium ore, which graduallyreleases radioactive radon gas. The gas dissolves in the water, and it wasbelieved that drinking such radioactive water was healthful both for curing andpreventing ailments of all sorts.This version of these supposedly health-giving crocks isvery rarely offered for sale. They were made in the early 1920’s.
