Thornhill Sandwich Tin
Beautiful silver sandwich tin stamped for the upmarket retailer Thornhill of Bond Street. Was originally engraved with a crest to the front, though this has rubbed as the tin has been used or polished over the years. It is beautifully made, and the inside is in immaculate condition. There is some patina to the exterior, but I\'ve not polished this out.
I\'ve looked carefully but cannot find a hallmark. Nonetheless it feels like silver, and was purchased from a dealer as such.
