Note: Item is marked 18389A on the bottom,the A denotes the added embellishmentengravings. The 18389 Hamptons without the \"A\" are a plain and smooth surface. Thisextra beautification is RARE and hard to find.Tiffany Hamptons are some of the most heavily collected pieces, and this one even more so due to its engravings.

Condition: The condition shows signs of use with some light surface scratches, butthere is no significant damage at all. The hinged lid opens and closes smoothly, the swing handle moves easily, yet is firm enough to stand up on its own.

A monogram of the letter \"A\" apppears on one side of the kettle.

Originally this hot water kettle was meant to rest on a stand, but that stand is no longer with the kettle.

A light polish has been given to the item, but a more thorough and detailed cleanse and polish could produce a deeper mirror finish.
