Toothpick Holder, Sterling rim by F.B. Rogers Silver Co 1883. Very beautiful Toothpick Holder Urn made out of clear pressed glass which ornate with two lion heads. The rim has patina and dents, in some places ornate smudged.
It has incised mark of F.B. Rogers Silver Co. with crown, dated 1883 and capital letters STERL under it. Visible letters on the mark reads as \"B.ROGERS SILVER\" under the crown, as the marking was made on the arch surface of rim and not all letters are there. Missing \"F.\" at the begining and \"Co\" at the end of hallmark. The glass piece in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines or scratches. Very thick and has quite a weight for such a small piece.Rim is not steady attached to the glass and could be rotated, but could not be removed from the glass piece. Very elegant looking piece.
