We are offering for sale a reat qualitysilver card case hung from its original belcher chain with finger carrying loop.

The card case is engine turned to both sides - the benefit of this form of decoration is that it does not show scratches! There is a round cartouche to the centre with the engraved initials \"J.L.T. 3rd June 1920\".

It has a hinged flip top and bears the hallmarks, thename and address of the retailer \"J.C. Vickery Regent St\" and the design registration number to the rim.

MEASUREMENTS: 9.5cm x 6.7cm (3.75\" x 2.6\") plus chain; 76g weight.

MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for Birmingham 1919, made by J C Vickery.

CONDITION: Excellent. There a couple of very minor dings to the surface.
