This is a VintageTowle Sterling Silver Bread Platein the \"Old Master\" pattern. I recently acquired this at a local estate sale. It is clearly marked Sterling and has theTowle CompanyNameas well as the242 piece type number on thebottom. It is ingood condition with only minor surface marks from use and no monogram or engraving on the front but it is engraved on the bottom with the words PHOEBE FRANCES CHAPTER. The pattern is crisp, clear and strong. The plate measures6 inches in diameter. If this is your pattern, or if you know someone with this pattern, wouldn\'t this make a wonderful addition??
