For sale from my private collection is this very rare first edition on Texas which is quite difficult to find. This is complete as issued with two illustrations. The first edition did not include a map, which was included in the second edition. This is the author\'s account of his travels from New England to Texas prior to the Texan Revolution. This is in the original binding with repairs done to the hinges long ago. Leather spine plate intact. Light wear to the exterior as seen, but very presentable. The interior has moderate foxing throughout with some water staining, most prominent near the beginning and the end of the book. The book is 276 pages. Page 270 has a small tear in it that is in the margin and slightly into the text, but all paper is present. Some pages have creased corners from previously being bent, but this is minor. Overall a nice copy of a very scarce book, and currently the cheapest available for sale anywhere that I could for looking, and please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have!
