The very popular GMT Gameplayer\'s Series has covered a wide variety of subjects, from the American Civil War (Glory) to World War II (June 6). This beautiful and rare game, first in its series, focuses successfully on the Napoleonic Era , providing players with a wide variety of battles: big, medium, and small; famous as well as those off the beaten path. GMT\'s Gameplayers\' Series uses an Activation Marker mechanic to create the unsurety of who will do what next, combined with a low complexity move/fight set of mechanics designed to emphasize fun, but still allowing for more thana little insight into both the battles as well as the armies which fought.

Triumph & Glory has playability as its main objective. Richard H. Berg\'s very innovative rule system was taken over by Frederic Bey for his \"Jours de Gloire\"-system (Berg approved!) and again used for the GMT game \"Borodino: Battle of the Moskova, 1812\". Both designers are thinking about more games to come within this rule-system-series!

FIVE battles dating from 1796 to 1809 are represented here. The battles include Castiglione (1796), Austerlitz (1805), Raab (1809), Aspern-Essling (1809), and Wagram (1809).

The game scale is 75 minutes per turn. Each hex is 325 yards across. Each strength point is approximately 200 men for infantry, 150 men for cavalry and 4 guns for artillery.
