I am selling two of my exquisite antique 19th century white work embroidered wedding handkerchiefs. Each have different embroidery & edging.One is more profusely embroidered than the other. The sizes are 1\'6 x 1.5\" approx.Each corner is beautifully worked with sprays of flowers in a satin stitch slightly raised & with gorgeous filling stitches including eyelet.The reverse of each handkerchief is the same as the front, such clever & fine work. The edges have also been embroidered. Both are worked upon the finest of soft linen or muslin.The one with more embroidery is in almost perfect condition, perhaps just one pinprick, just mentioned for accuracy, the other a couple of pinpricks, again minimal.
