UNIQUE Dutch 19thCAntique Wine Goblet Chalice Crystal Hand Etched Silver Enamel

A one of a kind antique goblet,made in the Netherlands. It has a top of lead crystal that has been handmadeand hand etched with lovely scenes and decorations.

It has also been hand paintedwith enamel, in a beautiful amethyst color.

The base stand on a sterlingsilver, hallmarked with a sword, base that has some subtle details on it. Thestand is made of ebonized wood and it has 3 bone small ball feet. The entirepiece has been handmade and is also quite large. Would have probably been usedduring special occasions or just to showcase.

The goblet was made around1820-1850.

It truly is a unique piece, ina lovely condition, that would also fit nicely in a museum!

Total height: about 19cm/ 7.5 inch

Condition: Great antique condition. Some minor surface wear to the silver and woodstand. The crystal glass has no chips/cracks/repairs and is in lovely order.The stem or base stands a tiny bit crooked, see the photos.
