This University of North Dakota School of Mines UND vase stands a respectable 9" high by 6" in diameter. It has a classicshouldered form with a short collar. This vessel is decorated with a carved motif oflarge Irisblossoms and leaves. It is glazed inarich mattereddish brownground, with shaded greens covering the upper two-thirds of the vase, with adeeper green glaze in the crevices of the carving, a simple glaze combination, yet very striking. It is well marked on the base, along with the name \'E. Jelliff\', dated 1950. This handsome Arts & Crafts stylevaseis innear mint condition, with a glaze nick on a leaf, which is well shown in the photos.This large vesselmakes avery handsome and beautifulpresentation!
