Vintage Jewish Mezuzah
Unknown age and originUnusual ivory-colored case seems to be carved from bone!
The decorative polished top side features a relief design accented in black.
The two ends with the screw holes are glued to the main piece.
The underside is fairly smooth, but not as much as the polished side. It shows lines that look like carving marks.
Since the scroll is curled, I put a weight on it to show a picture of it lying flat, but I had to take the picture in two parts.
The back of the scroll also has some writing.
4 3/8\" long by 1\" wide. The paper is 2 1/2\" high by 2 3/4\" wide.Condition
