This is an Original American Revolution eranote (\"Continental Currency\")from Connecticut. Denomination: \"FIVESHILLINGS\". Dated \"at Hartford, the first Day of Junel, A.D.1780\". Size: approx. 2 3/4\" by 3 1/2\".. Color: Heavy tan/brown paper, w/Black over-printing. Hand-signed & numbered in brown ink. Note is in Nice Condition,however, ithas been \"punch-canceled\", i.e. there is a large round hole just off-center; otherwise, o.k. Note grades VF+ or slightly better. Front side has a Nice decorative border surrounding a statement of release + the words \"FIVE SHILLINGS\" at the top, while the back/reverse side has a large \"Five Shillings\" + a large engraved decorative \"frame\"surrounding the words \"Five Shillings, Lawf.
