WW1 U.S. Colt .45 Holster- Dated 1917Condition: This holster is in used but overall excellent shape. There is some wear on the leather from use, including small scuff marks and minor/light scratches throughout the leather. The top of the holster has minor crackling of the leather, as most holsters from this era do. All of the stitching is still 100% undamaged, and there are no cuts to the leather. Overall, the holster is in above average condition for it\'s age!
The holster is marked: Watkins Campbell 1917. The 1917 dated holsters are much harder to find than the more highly produced 1918 dated gear. This holster would have been issued to an officer in the AEF in the early stages of WW1. The holster is for the Colt Model 1911 A1.45 pistol.Overall, this is a very nice holster that would make an excellent addition to any collection!
