ANEXCELLENT ORIGINALUS CAVALRY MODEL 1912 LEATHER SCABBARDAND THE ISSUE METAL PICKET PIN.

THIS LISTINGIS FOR THE LEATHER SCABBARD AND THE PICKET PIN.

THIS IS A NICELY PRESERVED SCABBARD WITH A CHOCOLATE BROWN LEATHER COLOR. THE LEATHER IS LIVELY BUTDRY. THE STITCHINGIS SOUND.

THIS SCABBARD APPEARS UNUSED AND ALL THE BILLETS INCLUDING THE TOP ONE ARE INGOOD CONDITION AND FULL LENGTH.THERE IS NO REPAIR.THERE ISSOME VERT DE GRIS ON THE BRASS PARTS.

NOTE THAT THE SCABBARD IS VERY TIGHT AND I DID NOT PUSH THE PIN ALL THE WAY IN.THE LEATHERWILL GIVE SOME WITH SOME LEATHER TREATMENT. THE TOP STRAP IS SOLID BUT SHOULD NOT BE STRETCHED AS IT MAY BREAK. THE FASTENING HOLE IS NOT TORN JUST A LITTLE ROUGH ON THE SURFACE.

THE PICKET PIN WAS ISSUED AND IS SHOWING MUCH USE AND IS RUSTED. IT IS NOT DETRIMENTAL WHEN DISPLAYED IN THE SCABBARD.
