This listing is for an Antique, US Glass, Bulls Eye and Daisy Sugar with Gold Circles and Gold Trim. The pattern was originally introduced as Newport by US Glass in 1909. It features large notched circles with a star design between. The piece has large looping handles and a beautifully designed scalloped foot. The circles are gold which glows outward along the radiant points. It\'s a fantastic piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG).
The sugar measures 4 3/8\" in diameter at the rim, 3 3/4\" high and weighs 1 lb 7.9 oz.
The piece is free of chips, cracks and fleabites. The gold is in fair condition with wear along the rim where the lid would have made contact and some fading on the circles. There are no notable marks from use or storage. The foot show slight shelf wear. The designs are sharp. The glass is wonderfully clear and free of cloudiness with a light glow under UV light.
