This medal is quite rare and should not be confused with the very common 2nd term medal of 1928 that was mass produced for over 80 yrs. This is a rare and original 1923 US Mint Inaugural Medal. Its also the only true available Inaugural Medal that is reasonably affordable as the Official Inaugural Medal from 1923 struck by Medallic Art Co sells for over $20,000 when offered for sale.
