This is a genuine Early Vietnam War Era Navy Bosun Whistle. This whistle is made of sterling silver as indicated by the stamp highlighted in one of the photos. This whistle is in outstanding condition and sounds pitch perfect. It has a little bit of bruising on thebuoy(Ball part) but sounds great. All welds on this badboy are intact and original. As you can see in many of the photo\'s a previous owner drilled a hole through the center of the whistle for mounting and display purposes.
This whistle shows it\'s age but is a beautiful piece of Vietnam War History.
