(September - Massachusetts) circular dated postmark with V stamped in black at top right --- addressed to James Deshon Esq., Boston --- N. Russell & Co Sep 7th in script on back flap --- seal is present and a small hole shows where it was torn away --- letter is dated Plymouth, September 6, 1850 and is regarding a cargo of coal --- letter is signed, N.
