This sale is for a vintage handmade Sweetgrass Purse. It is still quiteuseable, and in awesome condition. It is lined inside with a dark brown material, that is what gives it the dark brown color through it. It was handmade by our grandmother. I am not sure of the age of this purse. (definitely over 50 years). It is definitely made of sweetgrass and another type of grass material on the handles and throughout the basket. It measures 11\" around the circles x 3 1/2\" wide. The handles measure from the top of the circle 6\" (opening). It has two pockets on the inside. Tucked away in one of the pockets I found ,what appears to be a handmade sweetgrass coaster. That will stay in the purse as well. (one on each side) 4 3/4\" x 3 1/2\" deep. It was made and has never been used. It is just an awesome unique purse. I have not seen very many like this.
